What is your MOQ and candy tins wholesale price for custom candy tins wholesale?
Standard candy tin MOQ is 1,000 pcs per design — uniform across every case in this library. Unit price runs $0.42 – $1.22 for the middle 50% of cases, with a median of $0.59 – 0.88. The coating and the lid move the price more than the artwork does.
Do you supply empty candy tins, or only filled ones?
Empty — we are a candy tin manufacturer and a candy tin supplier, not a filler. Bodies and lids ship unfilled and unlabelled, so they can go straight onto your filling line.
Can you handle candy tins bulk orders across several shapes at once?
Yes. wholesale candy tins programmes are quoted per mould, so a round candy tin can, a square body and a tall candy tin can sit in one purchase order with separate minimums.
Are your candy tins airtight and food grade?
Yes. Bodies are food-grade tinplate with a food-contact-safe internal coating, and the lid seats under compression — that curl seal is what makes an airtight candy tin rather than a decorative one, and what stops sugar going sticky in transit.
Can I order custom candy tins with my own artwork?
Yes — that is the whole point of reusing a mould. Send artwork or a sketch and we proof it on the real substrate within 48 hours, printing up to 8 colours in CMYK or spot. Inside-lid print is quoted as a separate pass.
What shapes and sizes can you make?
Everything in the register above, plus bespoke geometry. The library runs from a compact candy tin for a pocket format up to a large candy tin for a counter jar, with hexagonal candy tin and nut and candy tin bodies held as well.
What is the wholesale price of a candy tin?
It follows the mould and the coating, not the artwork: $0.42 – $1.22 per unit for the middle 50% of cases at 1,000 pcs, before packing and freight. A metal candy tin with a heavier gauge and a food-grade liner sits at the top of that band.
Do you print inside the lid?
Yes. Body and lid are quoted as separate printing passes, so a lid-only print is the cheapest way to add a second surface — common on a candy tin gift set, where the inside of the lid carries ingredient and allergen panels.
What are your production lead times after sample approval?
A pre-production sample takes 7 days. Printing then ships in 15–20 days on an existing mould, 20–25 days extra if a new die has to be cut. For candy tins for christmas we quote against your shelf date rather than against a nominal lead time.
Can you support private label candy tins and OEM programmes?
Yes. As an OEM candy tin manufacturer we run private label candy tins end to end — tooling, print, packing and export documents on one line, with your brand on the tin and nothing of ours.
Can you ship to the UK, US, Australia and Canada?
Yes, FOB Ningbo / Shanghai / Shenzhen. Tell us the destination market and we match the relevant food-contact and packaging compliance requirements — a grain candy tin and a candy tin storage box declared for the EU are not the same filing.
How do you pack them so the sweets do not arrive broken?
Case-pack and wall gauge are set together, and a candy in tin can format is packed to its own weight rather than to a standard carton count. Send us the net weight and the route and we spec the pack against both.
Do you cut a new mold for a novelty shape?
Yes. A heart, a fish or a bespoke silhouette is a new mold rather than a new print, and it adds 20–25 days to tooling. On a first candy tin order most buyers pick from the shapes already cut and spend the difference on the finish.
Can you supply bulk candy tins without an insert tray?
Yes. bulk candy tins ship with a compartment tray, with a single divider, or with nothing inside at all if you are packing loose. Tell us the piece and the fill weight and the candy tin box is quoted with the right insert — or with none.
