Browse tin packaging cases by product use
Twelve product-use clusters, ranked by how many cases the library actually holds. Counts are live totals across all 2,839 cases, and a case can sit under more than one cluster.
Browse by tin shape and body type
Five shape families, read from the can-type recorded on each case. Square and round bodies make up the bulk of the library; long slim and special-shaped bodies are smaller ranges but much less contested.
Tin can printing and finishing routes
How a tin body and lid get decorated: the print pass first, then the coating laid over it, then any structural finishing. Each case page records the route that case was produced on.
1Tin can printing — three routes
Tin can printing runs in house, on the body and on the lid, quoted as separate passes. Three routes are recorded across this library: a four-colour CMYK offset print, a single spot colour, or spot colour laid over CMYK. Tinplate takes colour differently from paper, so every run is proofed on the real substrate first. On food tins that base coat is doing a second job: it is the barrier between the ink and the contents.
- White base coat — applied first, to isolate the print from the contents
- CMYK offset printing — full-colour photographic artwork
- Spot colour printing — one or two exact brand colours
2Unprinted and lacquered bodies
A tin can also ship with no artwork at all — a plain white-base or bare metallic body under a protective lacquer. That is the cheapest route for a first run, or for a private label programme that applies its own label. Whether a white base coat is applied decides if the tinplate grain stays visible — which suits a premium or industrial look.
- Body-only print — the cheapest decorated route, shipped with a plain lid
Browse by tin capacity
Five capacity bands, counted only from the cases that state a volume in ml. Cases without a stated capacity are reachable through the size index below instead.
Featured tin can packaging cases
A hand-picked set from the library, shown with the full specification — tin shape, capacity, surface finish and the mould each one was produced from. Their titles already match how buyers describe what they want, so they are the most direct way into the archive.

The library accumulates existing tooling across every case. The refs below are the most reused — each row is an existing mould, so printing your artwork on it costs no mould fee.
Custom tin can sourcing — MOQ, price and lead time
Commercial terms for turning any case on this page into your own production run. Mould reuse is the reason these numbers are low — you are paying for printing and tinplate, not for tooling.

CNTINWORLD is a tin can manufacturer supplying OEM and private label programmes as well as plain wholesale. We produce empty tin cans and boxes in bulk — wholesale quantities start at 1,000 pieces per design — decorate them in house, and ship worldwide. Tin can manufacturing runs on the same lines as our standard bodies, so a distributor buying wholesale tin cans to fill locally pays the same unit price band as a private label programme. Whether you are commissioning private label tea tins, need a tin can supplier for a retail programme, or are shortlisting food tin manufacturers or a food cans supplier, the terms below are the same.
1Tin can manufacturing
Tin can manufacturing here starts from coil tinplate, not from a bought-in body: we form, seam, coat, print and pack on the same lines. Custom shapes run on the same presses as a standard body, so they are quoted on identical terms — only the tool differs. That is why a private label run and a wholesale run price the same.
